The Chief Communications Office is responsible for internal and external communications for the Governor’s Office of Information Technology. Our goal is to create a clear picture of OIT’s mission and service for the State of Colorado, and to make sure our agency customers stay informed about the services we provide and the projects we initiate in partnership with them.
Externally, our team manages any media inquiries, press releases and legislative communications that support and enhance the goals of the organization. We also assist OIT teams with communications to our agency customers regarding OIT initiatives and projects.
Internally, we manage frequent communications and events for our 900 employees, as well as assist with key presentations and events attended by the Secretary of Technology and Chief Information Officer. The Chief Communications Office also manages all social media and website content for the Governor’s Office of Information Technology.
