Governor's Office of Information Technology Announces New State Broadband Portal

DENVER, Colo.—The Governor’s Office of Information Technology (OIT) is pleased to announce the launch of the new State Broadband Portal at This easy to use broadband site offers new and exciting tools and resources that will allow Coloradans to improve their broadband experience.

Key features of the State Broadband Portal include:

  • An interactive broadband map of Colorado
  • Visually shows what broadband services are available
  • Visually filters results based on speed and technology type
  • Includes address search capability with all broadband providers available and speed ratings
  • The ability to check your current broadband speed
  • A resource library for broadband education
  • News related to broadband development and policies
  • Upcoming state broadband events

Says OIT’s Broadband Program Manager Brian Shepherd, “The new State Broadband Portal provides a one-stop-shop for people who are involved in expanding broadband throughout the state. We are so thrilled to kick off this new tool for Colorado broadband efforts.”
